The snail drum is undoubtedly the most hard-to-find accessory for the Luger P-08 pistol, as well as the most expensive. Original snail drums typically sell for a minimum of $1,000.00 or more in fairly poor condition. The GT Custom Edition is an upgraded version of the original snail drum. The G.T. Custom Edition has been modified and tuned for increased durability and enhanced reliability. Tighter tolerances have been achieved to ensure a better fit, and we’ve made improvements to the design of many internal components to achieve a level of functionality that matches or surpasses that of an original. The set includes a G.T. custom edition 32 round 9mm snail drum, loading tool (necessary when loading the 9mm rounds), and an English reprint of the original 1917 German instructional manual.

Note: The snail drum is not sold individually.

The rear spine will show some deep etching or surface pitting caused by caustic cleaner used in the black oxide process by GT Custom. This is strictly cosmetic, mechanically not affected.
