Extended magazine release for all Ruger American rifles mounted in factory stocks and fed from detachable AR-Style (NATO/STANAG) magazines. The +3.5mm extension puts the mag release button into a much more intuitive position while also sealing the gap between the stock and the release button during magazine changes. This eliminates the possibility of glove/finger pinching commonly felt with the factory button, and provides much more positive and confident mag changes, even in cold weather or while wearing gloves.
