DSA FAL SA58 Metric Pattern Suppressor Ready Adjustable Gas Plug

DS Arms manufactured Metric Pattern quick release gas plug for the FAL Rifle.

DS Arms designed this gas plug specifically for end users running a suppressor on their rifle. Utilizing a threaded bushing system this gas plug will allow you to tune the amount of gas being directed to your gas piston and cycling the rifle.

Three different bushing options means you will be able get your specific rifle/ suppressor combination running smoothly!

This gas plug design was tested using a number of different barrel lengths from 8.25" to 21" in length. We tested this gas plug design with 4 different brands of suppressors in both semi auto and select fire configurations.

This plus is not compatible with L1A1 Inch Pattern or Israeli Pattern Rifles.

Please note that the gas plug supplied may either be the lever model or button model.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADJUSTABLE GAS PLUG:

• REMOVE STANDARD GAS PLUG.
• INSTALL ADJUSTABLE GAS PLUG WITH LARGEST (SILVER) BUSHING INSTALLED.
• OPEN REGULATOR ALL THE WAY-ABOUT THREE TURNS. BLEED OFF VENT SHOULD BE FULLY VISIBLE.
• INSTALL SUPRESSOR.
• TEST FIRE. EJECTION SHOULD BE POSITIVE BUT NOT VIOLENT.
• IF EJECTION IS STILL TOO STRONG, REMOVE ADJUSTABLE GAS PLUG AND REPLACE BUSHING WITH MEDIUM (BLACK) BUSHING.
• WHEN BUSHING IS PROPERLY INSTALLED, IT SHOULD BE SEATED JUST BELOW FACE OF GAS PLUG.
• REPEAT TEST FIRE PROCEDURE. IF STILL TOO STRONG, INSTALLED SMALL (RED) BUSHING.
• REPEAT TEST FIRE.
• REGULATOR MAY NEED TO BE CLOSED SLIGHTLY FOR PROPER CYCLING OF RIFLE.
• FOR OPERATION WITHOUT SUPRESSOR, STANDARD GAS PLUG WILL NEED TO BE RE-INSTALLED.
