The G1 folding charging handle is the upgraded version of the original charging handle that was the first production part from Templar Precision.

These require the Older Style Single Sided Charging handle assembly which has an angled plastic knob on ONE side.  The G2 folding charging  handle is what the newer Ambi assemblies use and are available now!

The G1 is more straight and inserts into the charging handle assembly with a latch that clicks into place.

The G2 handle features a pin which holds the handle in place, because of this it is more round at the base.

These charging handles are made from Billlet 7075 Aluminum and are available in Black or Coyote Cerakote.    The G1 Folding charging handle has been optimized to allow for maximum grip while also keeping the overall size down.

The G1 Folding Charging handle is built for a minimum height which allows for use with lasers and more optics without interference.  Lasers like the Peq-15, (ATIPAL-C) and optics like the Eotech EXPS-3 can have issues with operation of the factory charging handle which was a major reason that the G1 was developed.
