Please note:  Actual spring weight needs may vary based upon ammo/reload results.  In many cases, your factory recoil spring may work fine.  We suggest the following before changing your recoil spring when using this compensator:

1.  With the compensator correctly installed, using your stock recoil spring, load one  round into your magazine

2.  Shoot one shot and check to see:

      a.  Did the slide lock back

      b.  Did your brass eject farther than 2-3 feet to your right?

If the above test worked with your factory spring, using the ammo of your choice, you may not need an additional recoil spring.  Due to the many different bullet weights and powders available for this round, different brands of powders will create different results.  Reloadiing this round provides unlimited results.
