The K-Type Compact Tactical Muzzle Brake is designed for minimal weight, minimal added length and maximum performance. Recoil and muzzle rise are roundly mitigated in this humble yet dignified 3 ounce package. The USA sourced hardened steel will live up to the harshest treatment and conditions. Whether competing with yourself or at SOF, USPSA, 3-Gun events or even if competing with incoming fire, this mighty brake will not let you down.

This brake is equally at home on some pistols. For most pistols, the brake should not interfere with the guide rod upon cycling, but interference must be checked before use!

The K-Type is designed to use our thread adapters. One thread adapter is included with each brake except for the 3/4-24 thread. We recommend a thread locking compound be used on thread adapter and brake threads, but it is not required. Loctite 271 and medium strength (semi permanent) thread lockers are recommended and widely available. The K-Type is shim, crush washer and lock not compatible.
