With it’s two-piece full length guide rod and open-ended guide rod plug, The .460 Rowland® Tougher Buffer System is elegant and versatile.
It lasts longer and is simply more effective than other recoil assemblies available.

Our Tougher Buffer Guide Rod is .25″ in diameter (thinner than most) to accommodate the flat-wound springs we like so much.

Ships with our standard 20Lb Flat-Wound, Dual-Action Spring. This is the spring that we have found works best in most standard 5″ 1911’s to cycle both .45 ACP and .460 Rowland through the .460 Rowland Conversion Kit.
