Note from the Manufacturer: In the original models the spring was sent along with the
thumbsaver. While it couldn't fall out while being installed in the rifle, they would
often get bent or lost during cleaning or disassembly/reassembly. So in my new
model the spring is permanently contained in the thumbsaver by a pin or cam
that you see protruding from the thumbsaver.
